LMS and BR (LMR) Models 8

A sequence now, of models of Victorian-era LNWR origins, but painted in a freelance livery as requested by my customer.  All built from London Road Models kits.

This is "Delilah", a model based on a 'Samson' Class 2-4-0.

"Katelyn", a 'Bloomer' Class 2-2-2.

"Nymue", a 'Lady of the Lake' Class 2-2-2.

All of the above locos have been fitted with bespoke nameplates made by Guilplates

No.14678 "Gordon Castle" is an ex-Highland Railway 'Castle' Class 4-6-0, seen here in early post-Grouping LMS livery.  This class of ten locomotives, designed by Peter Drummond, was a development of the 'Jones Goods' for express passenger work.  Built from a DJH kit.

No.56152 is an ex-Caledonian Railway / ex-LMS 498 Class 0-6-0T, designed by J.F.McIntosh for shunting in docks, and other locations where tight curves were liable to be found in the trackwork.  Built from a Caley Coaches kit.
